As part of the full-credit Leadership Class during the summer school, the students were taught the importance of gun safety. The students were able to fire .22 caliber rifles in FUMA's indoor range for several days. On the final day of the gun safety section, the students were taken to the outdoor range to fire some other types of weapons.
