Dillard Guard in Appomattox Parade
“The Dillard Guard” Marches in the Appomattox Christmas Parade
On Saturday, Dec. 7th, the Middle School's marching drill team, "The Dillard Guard", represented Fork Union Military Academy at the annual Appomattox Christmas parade. "The Dillard Guard", led by Cadet Major Jonathan Ilori (and sponsored by LTC Feathers) is comprised of cadets in grades 6-8. Cadets on the Guard must maintain good grades and conduct to participate. They practice during their free time and enjoy opportunities to march in parades off-campus during the year. Several parades are scheduled for the spring.
