When serious medical emergencies occur in the Fluvanna County community near Fork Union, the Pegasus medical helicopter team is called to provide rapid transport to the hospital in Charlottesville. We are proud that it is Fork Union Military Academy property between Jacobson Hall and US Route 15 that the EMS teams use as the landing location for the Pegasus helicopter. Just another community service happily offered by the Academy.
