The Middle School Soccer team lost a hard-fought battle to a seasoned St. Christopher team, ending with a final score of 0-3. FUMA came out a bit sluggish in the first half, falling behind by two goals early, but the team regained our composure in the second half and worked hard to be aggressive and attack the ball. Game honors went to our goalie, Joseph Pham, who persevered despite wet and slippery conditions, and Blake Chiovaro, who was all over the field and blocked several hard shots from the St. Christopher offense. The team's goal is to play hard, whether winning or losing. The coaches encouraged the boys at the end of the game, letting them know that the only way to improve is to play against tough opponents.
