Geoff Stiff Speaks to Cadets
Geoffrey S. Stiff joined International Cooperating Ministries (ICM) in January 2011 as President. In 2010, Geoff retired as Senior Vice President for the Retirement and Protection segment of Genworth Financial in Richmond, VA after a 30-year career with GE and its spin-off. Geoff led strategic product development and capital markets for the U.S. life insurance companies. Over his career, Geoff led Financial Planning and Analysis for GE, was CFO of the second largest property and casualty reinsurer in the U.S., was CFO overseeing the purchase of several life insurance companies, and was President of a $30 billion life insurance company. He has extensive experience as a CPA, CFO, executive, and innovator. Geoff earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bentley College in Waltham, MA in 1974 and a master’s degree in management from the MIT Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, MA in 1980. He has been awarded several patents. Geoff considers this as training for what God has called him to today – joining the mission of ICM: to nurture believers and assist Church growth worldwide.
