From our Science teacher, CPT Gottschalk: “Our seventh grade classes are dissecting owl pellets this week. They have learned about the owl’s role in the ecosystem and how it relates to the greater biosphere. The owl has an interesting digestive system that involves food regurgitation. The cadets have enjoyed this inquisition and will be reconstructing the skeletons of the prey contained within the owl pellet.”
