FUMA's Battalion Commander, Josh Wright, was promoted to Colonel in a rank pinning ceremony this morning held in the Wicker Chapel. The promotion was a surprise to the Battalion Commander and was unexpected for good reason. Such a promotion to Colonel is a very rare event, and this rank is reserved for only the most outstanding cadet commanders. This honor has not been awarded to a cadet in a number of years.
